		Trading Spaces Television host Mike Jerrick is back in Philly—and busy decorating his chic new pad at The St. James. I’d been living in New York for about seven years doing a syndicated show, The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, when Fox gave me the opportunity to return to local television as a cohost of Good Day Philadelphia, which I anchored from 1999 to 2002. I’m looking to furnish my apartment in my style, which I would say is “all-over-the-place contemporary.” Here are a few of the great fi nds I discovered in Philadelphia’s chic furniture stores:

I have two daughters who both have boyfriends, and I have a girlfriend, so it usually ends up being six of us [at the table]. This Golden Gate dining room table ($5,537) can be a smaller square but expands into a rectangular table for six. It’s also perfect for my apartment’s look and feel.

I’ve always liked chaises longues, and I love this Sophia left-arm chaise ($3,700). I had one that I left behind [in New York] and one that I gave to an ex-girlfriend, so I need a new one. I like them because they’re chic-looking but great for watching TV—functional and stylish.

I love that this Siw Thai Silk tufted round pillow ($350) is the result of a collaboration between a Yardley-based company and villagers in Thailand who create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces.

My ex-mother-in-law gave me the Harvard Classics. It’s a library of 50 books, and they’re all the same burnt-orange color on the binding, which looks great on this Cadman spine bookcase ($139.99).
