The Pool at Harrah’s Resort
It’s not just who you know in AC—it’s what you know. We’ve got a few insider tips for your next night out on the town.
Best: DJ Lineup
Borgata mixed things up last summer when it debuted a revamped, spruced-up Mixx, its original nightspot. Despite the changes, the DJ rotation remains solid: Samantha Ronson, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Sky Nellor regularly hit the turntables here, in addition to dabblers like Jermaine Dupri and Nick Cannon. International DJs like Paul Van Dyk and Carl Cox drop by for special events. 1 Borgata Way
Best: Tricked-Out Cabanas
It’s nothing but clear skies and comfortable climes beneath the giant glass dome that cloaks AC’s coolest nightlife setting, The Pool at Harrah’s Resort. Roomy cabanas rock flat-screens and iPod docks, with bottle service provided by one of The Pool’s bikini-clad servers. 777 Harrah’s Blvd.

Best: Hotel Dance Party
The Chelsea Hotel’s beach-chic daytime pool scene morphs into an ultrahip hang when night falls. Up-and-coming DJs plucked from Vegas and Miami lord over the breezy rooftop Cabana Club as well-coiffed guests hop between curtainswathed cabanas outfitted with custom minibars and flat-screen TVs. 111 S. Chelsea Ave.
Best: Hidden Treasure
There are perks aplenty for members of the Foundation Room at Showboat’s House of Blues, but even they would agree that the biggest thrill of being a VIP here is reveling in the dramatic Eastern décor that permeates this dimly lit lounge, making for one of AC’s most unexpected nightlife experiences. 801 Boardwalk
Best Celeb Spotting
At nearly two years young, Dusk equates late-night fun with a more intimately designed boutiquelike venue, which regularly attracts young Hollywood’s hottest hosts. Dusk’s most coveted table is inside the DJ booth, where top VIPs get a front-row view of the fun. Leave your digits with the VIP service manager if there’s a wait for bottle service: He’ll text you when a table is ready. Caesars Atlantic City, 2100 Pacific Ave.
