Philadelphia Style’s October cover star David Boreanaz came to town to view the premiere with his fellow stars, including Carla Gugino and Marley Shelton, where they were greeted by coach Cathy Rush, Immaculata University’s current Mighty Macs players, members of the legendary 1972 through 1974 championship teams, as well as the sisters at Immaculata. After the screening, guests celebrated the success of the movie at a ’70s-themed disco party, held in the Kimmel Center’s Commonwealth Plaza, where Philadelphia Style hosted a VIP reception for local notables and cast members.
