Menswear Newcomer: Jack Wills
December 05, 2011 | Style & Beauty
Known for slender modern suiting as well as rugby stripes and brogues, Jack Wills is a preppy fashion heavyweight across the Atlantic. Philadelphia welcomes the brand to its fair corner of the world, the boutique the latest in a series of stateside launches. “We are excited about the Philadelphia retail market,” says Ed Foy, Jack Wills’s head of marketing and business development in the US. Foy is especially fond of the unique relationship between The City of Brotherly Love and the land of our forefathers, noting, “Philadelphia has a history rich in English tradition, and is home to some of the best universities in the world.” University students aside, we have no doubt Wills’s stripes will run from Independence Hall to Rittenhouse Square very soon. 1617 Walnut St., 215-751-1055; jackwills.com
