Friends of Philadelphia Style were transported to Venice’s Carnival for a masquerade ball and the first Best of Style party since the pandemic. Upon arrival, VIP guests enjoyed a pre-party hosted by WSFS Bank. Here, attendees like Brian Emmons, Marc Oppenheimer and Fox29’s Mike Jerrick sipped Veuve Clicquot with bites from Steak 48 while swaying to tunes from BVTLive!’s electric violinist. On their way into the Wanamaker Building was a top-of-the-line ride from Porsche Drive, which could be someone's for the weekend by entering a raffle—win or lose, everyone picked up a gift bag at the Porsche Drive table. After trying their luck, Aerialists, a juggler and Venetian ladies from Jewelz Entertainment greeted attendees between bites from over 20 restaurants, including Izakaya by Yanaga, Positano Coast, DePaul's Table and more. For dessert, an array of chocolates and caramels spread across one table, while espresso martinis complemented mini tiramisu from Rosalie. Classic Cake also served its popular delicacies, including their colorful French macarons. THE GUESTS Among the masked individuals, TV personality Jen Su and artist King Saladeen managed to fly under the radar among all the feathers, glitz and glam. THE PINNACLE When taking breaks from dancing to tunes from CTO Music Artists dj and band, guests headed to the Caesars Entertainment casino lounge pop-up to test their luck. By purchasing poker chips or a gift bag for the Gift of Life Howie's House charity, attendees could win overnight stays at Tropicana, Caesars and Harrah’s, restaurant gift cards and more.
