For familiar French favorites with a heaping side of people-watching, head to Rittenhouse favorite Parc (227 S. 18th St., 215.545.2262, parc- restaurant.com). Expect cassoulet (the restaurant’s Sunday special), trout amandine and a photo worthy Grand Plateau fruit de mer tower brimming with oysters and mussels.
Bistrot La Minette (623 S. Sixth St., 215.925.8000, bistrotlaminette.com) executive chef Kenneth Bush concocts an array of classic dishes from scratch.The three-course prix fixe weekend lunch menu features house specialties like oeuf du pecher, mussels in a tarragon cream topped with a poached egg.
At Royal Boucherie (52 S.
