On April 21, 2019, The 88th annual Easter Promenade took place on South Street in Philadelphia. Thousands of participants strolled along in their fanciest clothes and hats for the annual event, which is a Philadelphia tradition. The promenade finishes at a stage near the Headhouse to parade in front of judges which included radio hosts Patty Jackson, WDAS, Mina Say What, Boom Philly, Marilyn Russell, WOGL, Robert Drake, WXPN , local business women Jillian Pirtel, and Monica Monique. Emcee for the 27th time was Henri David, who lead the parade down South Street with councilman Mark Squilla and Mayor Jim Kenney.
