On May 4, 2019, Algar Ferrari of Philadelphia hosted a benefit for Adopt a Pig at their Bryn Mawr showroom. Attendees enjoyed hors d'ouevres and champagne while watching the Kentucky Derby and examined the automobiles in the showroom. A portion of the event proceeds benefited Adopt a Pig whose mission is to provide coping mechanisms and support services to children fighting cancer in the region. Funds are raised through the sale of piggy banks which are first painted by the children as a form of art therapy.
