On May 9th, 2019, The Runway, a contemporary, lunchtime fashion show presented by the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, raised more than $600,000 to support the featured beneficiary of the 2019 Daisy Days fundraising campaign, Healthier Together, CHOP's initiative, which addresses factors such as hunger, asthma and behavioral health issues, with the mission to improve children's health and wellness. Emceeing the event was Melissa McGee and Laurel Pantin from InStyle Magazine. The fashion show featured CHOP patients and notable Philadelphian's including WOGL's Marilyn Russell, 6ABC's Monica Malpass, and cancer survivor Missy Manuel, who is the wife of the Philadelphia Phillies, Charlie Manuel.
