On May 2, 2019, Villanova men’s basketball coach, Jay Wright, former NBA player, Etan Thomas, jewelry designer, Moira Anne Rubino, Josh Broudy and Michael Rosenthal of RLB Law Group, and artist, Dori Desautel Broudy hosted an intimate luncheon for the launch of the Philadelphia chapter of the charity Gene Spotlight, which raises money for rare disease medical research. The event was held at Louie Louie restaurant in Philadelphia. The luncheon raised over $65,000 which will fund vital rare disease medical research at the Orphan Disease Center at Penn, CHOP, and other universities and hospitals.
