On February 28, 2019, Mayor Jim Kenney, former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, Radnor Property Group Managing Partner Dave Yeager, and Community College of Philadelphia President Dr. Donald Guy Generals formally marked the grand opening of The Hamilton, an innovative mixed-use development located in the former Philadelphia Inquirer transfer space. Conceived by project developer Radnor Property Group, the $160 million urban development, located steps from the Community College of Philadelphia’s Main Campus, has brought to Philadelphia a total of 579 market-rate apartments designed to cater to the area’s young professional segment and the educational centers. Highlights of the building include a fitness center with yoga room, a movie room, shuffleboard and billiards tables, a landscaped outdoor courtyard, and more. Guests enjoyed catering by Feast Your Eyes and a live DJ set by DJ Eddy Tully.
