Earth Day and Full Moon Hike
What’s a better way to recognize all our planet does for you than by enjoying a brisk nighttime hike through the woods? Volunteer with One Tree Planted
Take a day to give back to your community by volunteering with One Tree Planted, Cities4Forests, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and the Point Breeze Tree Tenders. All of these amazing organizations are uniting as one to help fill our city with greenery galore, and with your help they’ll be able to achieve their goal of 100 new saplings. Fishtown Science Crawl
The Franklin Institute and the Fishtown neighborhood are taking “Sunday Funday” to the next level with their science-themed bar crawl. Fette Sau, Barcade, The Barbary and Front Street Cafe are just a few names on the list of geeked-out participants, and at each location you’ll be able to order specially crafted cocktails and observe live science demonstrations. 2-5pm, $5, Fishtown, fi.edu

OWE (One With Earth) Launch Event
Go out and support One With Earth, a new, local non-profit dedicated to helping aid impoverished communities by providing them with the proper resources for independence.
