On May 1, 2019, Juvenile Law Center, a public interest law firm for children, recognized three advocates in the field, Elizabeth Calvin, Nicole Pittman, and Jennifer Rodriguez with it's 2019 Leadership Prize. Decided by a selection committee each were recognized because their work made a real impact on the lives of youth in the child welfare and justice systems. The annual event was held at the Constitution Center. After the honoree program, which was emceed by Solomon Jones, guests enjoyed a buffet catered by Brulee Catering.
