Since opening in Wayne in 2015, Cornerstone Bistro & Artisanal Market (1 West Ave., 610.688.1888, cornerstonewayne.com) has become the go-to destination for foodies and oenophiles from the Main Line over. With its Nantucket feel and decidedly upscale fare, Cornerstone has cornered the market on sublime experiences, and its latest offering only solidifies its lofty position. Co-owners Christine and Nick Kondra’s wine and chef dinners, Tableside Tastings & Conversations, feature the best, brightest minds across the culinary stratosphere—the Château Rothschild team flew in from Bordeaux just for a recent event. From Feb. 25 to 29, Cornerstone is hosting the first Sonoma Wine Week, with help from wineries and vineyards including Paul Hobbs, Kistler and Francis Ford Coppola. The week ends with the first annual Cornerstone Sonoma Wine Festival, with a portion of the proceeds going toward the Bee Foundation for brain aneurysm awareness and prevention—a worthy reason to raise a glass this winter.
