On November 11, 2019, The Marian Anderson Award was at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. It began with a cocktail party and sit down dinner before a concert emceed by Tamron Hall. Friends, supporters, colleagues, and fans turned out to celebrate the four original members of the Kool & The Gang at the gala.
