On May 7, 2019, The Annual Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools (BLOCS) hosted their annual BLOCS Gala at Cescaphe's Water Work. Guests mingled during a hour long cocktail party as they enjoyed the sunset over the Schuylkill River. Later, guests headed to a large tent for the dinner program where Allied Wire & Cable were honored for their support of BLOCS, an organization where scholarships have provided over 16,000 underserved children an education in private school regardless of their religious background. There was also a performance by Bishop Shanahan Student Choir featuring Jessy Kyle.
