On Februrary 24, 2020, Suits & Sazeracs, a New Orleans-inspired evening took place at Hotel Palomar’s newly renovated 25th-floor Burnham Ballroom. Guests enjoyed samples of unique Sazerac creations crafted by eight of Philadelphia’s top bartenders utilizing Bluebird Distilling’s Straight Rye Whiskey. In addition to the NOLA classic cocktail, there was a live band and passed hors d’oeuvres including cajun-spiced waffle fries, shrimp po’boy sliders and New Orleans-style beignets by Square 1682. The fundraiser kicked off Henry A. Davidsen’s Suit Drive Challenge, aimed at securing 7,500 donations of new and gently used men’s and women’s attire to be donated to Career Wardrobe. $6,250 was raised and donated to Career Wardrobe.
