On April 28, 2019, Joshua and Dory Broudy hosted The Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) benefactors party at their home in Haverford, PA. About 50 guests gathered for cocktails and lite bites by Catering By Design and discussed the upcoming AVA Gala happening in a few weeks on May 11, 2019. There was also a mini-concert given by Metropolitan Opera star, Bryan Hymel, who was joined by some Resident Artists from AVA. There was an exciting auction where one guest successfully bid on a concert in their own home to be given by Bryan Hymel.
