On May 2 ,2019, The Arts + Business Council for Greater Philadelphia hosted a talk by Amy Whitaker, professor of art and business, blockchain researcher, and advisor at NYU. Nearly 100 guests attended the morning session at Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts new concert venue. The event began with a continental breakfast, followed by a discussion by Whitaker about defining innovation. Opening the morning session, Markita Morris-Louis, Esq. Executive Director welcomed the guests, and reminded them about the upcoming Arts + Business Council’s 34th Annual Awards Celebration to honor our region’s collaborative spirit and creative drive coming up on May 29, 2019.
