“I’m an ambassador for Philadelphia. There’s not a place that I go in the country—or the world—that I don’t talk positively about Philadelphia. When our kids were born, we lived at 20th and Brandywine streets, right in the Art Museum district, and you could walk anywhere. There was nothing better, especially having my kids in the stroller and Rollerblading up and down East River Drive, Kelly Drive. I wasn’t born in Philly, but I made a living in Philadelphia; I invest in Philadelphia, and I’m proud to say that I am, indeed, a Philadelphian. I think it’s great that [the magazine] not only promotes Philly, but the people within it. I’m just so appreciative that I have the opportunity to be a part of it somehow, someway, and to be able to share that excitement with so many other people with the great events that the magazine has.”
