On May 31, 2019, The Voice Foundation and Gala Chair Madame Justice Sandra Schultz Newman welcomed guests to the 2019 Voices of Summer Gala. The evening began with a jazz reception and cocktails, followed by a concert, awards, dinner and dancing. Honored this year were Opera singers Lucine Amara, Julianne Baird, and Mignon Dunn, as well as Jeffrey R. Smith, musical director of the Philadelphia Boys Choir.
