Art and community collide this winter with Wonderspaces. After successful shows in San Diego and Scottsdale, Wonderspaces is bringing its vision here with Point of View, a gathering of 14 different installations acquired from artists around the world. “We’ve been dreaming of presenting shows in Philadelphia since day one because of the city’s burgeoning creative community and its vibrant art scene,” says Jason Shin, president of Wonderspaces. “When the space in Fashion District Philadelphia became available, we saw a unique opportunity to make extraordinary artwork accessible to the widest possible audience, and we jumped at it.” Wander around for a variety of exhibits that play on perspective—plus Instagram-worthy spots to snap photos. “The artwork ranges from an award-winning virtual reality short film about a dinner part-turned-alien abduction to a room where visitors digitally paint the walls with the movement of their bodies,” says Shin. Guests can also enjoy a full bar, which he hopes will only further enhance the experience. 27 N. 11th St., philadelphia.wonderspaces.com
