Yanni Eboras, a physician assistant, and Shaun Cruz, an electrical engineer, met in college. “As someone who was born and raised in the Philippines, I was thrilled to find out that Drexel University had a Filipino club and joined immediately. Fortunately, Shaun was also part of the club,” remembers the bride. Fast-forward to six years later and Shaun was planning a romantic proposal after a hike with their fur baby, Cooper. The duo tied the knot with a traditional Filipino-Catholic wedding and glamorous reception at Arts Ballroom with shades of white, gold, silver and blush to set the elegant tone. After dancing their first dance to Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect,” they sliced into a red velvet confection by The Master’s Baker to end their perfect night.
