If you’re a Philadelphia Flyers fan, chances are you’ve seen Andrea Helfrich in action as host on the ice. Last year, Andrea got some “ice” of her own—a sparkling round diamond, to be exact—when her boyfriend of nine years, Antonio Presta, popped the question at the Four Seasons Philadelphia. “Andrea and I were so enamored by the 60th-floor restaurant Jean-Georges when we first dined there, it kind of stuck with us,” says Antonio, owner of Trios Tomato Pie and Craft Manayunk. “Without any ability to travel overseas, this was by far the most romantic location available.” The duo, who first met at Antonio’s family restaurant (formerly Bella Trattoria) where he was the manager, is now planning a September 2021 wedding at Cescaphe’s Water Works venue. The former Miss Philadelphia is looking forward to throwing an “epic” party for their family and friends. “We’re trying to achieve modern, elegant romance,” says the Bucks County native of her ideal vibe. “We want guests to feel enveloped by love and beauty and comfortable enough to dance and let loose and celebrate with us.” Here, Andrea shares a sneak peek at some of her favorite details for her most important day.
