How would you describe your style?
Our style is a blend of classic, timeless and modern. We have a very photojournalistic approach, but we also step in and give direction which is always fun and natural. We draw from fine art elements for inspiration and love
to incorporate both editorial and documentary elements in our style. I believe that a good photographer has to know how to strike the perfect balance between stepping in to give direction and stepping back and allowing the moment to unfold, always being present and being able to document the moment without interrupting it. It's knowing how to notice the details and also see the moments, both scripted and unscripted. All while chasing beautiful light and knowing how to create beautiful light if there isn't any available.
What is your proudest achievement?
I started this business 14 years ago by myself. Today, I’m so proud to have built a talented team of Associate photographers and Cinematographers who are passionate and dedicated and truly pour their heart into their work. We have 7 amazing Associate photographers, and two incredible video teams. We have built a beautiful community together and are so grateful to do what we love. To this day, our studio has photographed and produced 887 weddings! I am so proud of what we have created together.
What is the most gratifying part of your business?
Working with the most amazing couples! It's always an honor to witness and document such an important and joyous time in our client's lives. And it's incredible that we get to know each one of our couples and we get to create photographs for them that truly reflect their own story and who they are as a couple. Each day is so unique and I love that we get to capture all of the joy, all the emotions and all the scripted and unscripted moments. Knowing that we are documenting your story, capturing these memories and creating heirlooms is the most gratifying part of what we do. Knowing that these images will live on for generations to come is always the biggest honor.
What services do you offer?
We offer both photography and cinematography services. Both our photo and video team know each other really well and we make a great team together. Our goal is to provide a smooth and streamlined experience for our couples, so we make the process fun and easy. Our video team is very unobtrusive and cinematic and they work alongside our photographers to tell your story. We also offer engagement sessions, elopements as well as beautiful fine art albums. If you do choose an album as part of your package, we will help create a custom design for you to help get you started because we know that starting on your own can be hard! We work closely with each and every couple to provide them with an amazing experience, down to the smallest detail.
