NORTH TO SHORE FESTIVAL
Last year’s inaugural North to Shore Festival (northtoshore.com) was a resounding success, and it’s returning for 2024 in a big way. “So many beloved artists are performing in Atlantic City for the North to Shore Festival,” says John Schreiber, President and CEO of NJPAC, which is producing the event. Expect songs From Frankie Valli, the B-52s, the joyful R&B of Eric Roberson and the Barenaked Ladies. Also check out indie rockers like Kurt Vile, comedians Sam Morril, Chris DiStefano and Yannis Pappas, and Latin superstars Prince Royce and Wisin, among others.

KELLY CLARKSON
While many of the so-called American Idols who appeared on the iconic reality competition haven’t exactly gone on to become household names, Kelly Clarkson certainly has managed to do so. As the OG of the American Idol series, Clarkson comes to Hard Rock Atlantic City (hardrockhotelatlanticcity.com) ready to belt out a night of pop gems via some of the most powerful pipes in the biz.

Maher’s star power has never been bigger, as he currently serves as host of both his longtime politically charged HBO show Real Time with Bill Maher, as well as his podcast, “Club Random.” But Maher’s first love is stand-up comedy, and on May 18, he returns to roll the dice at Borgata (borgata.mgmresorts.com) with a stand-up set that is sure to be as hilarious as it is controversial.

STEVE MARTIN AND MARTIN SHORT
You’ve seen them on the big screen in movies such as Three Amigos and Father of the Bride, and on their recent hit show Only Murders in the Building, but until you’ve seen Steve Martin and Martin Short live onstage together, it’s just not the same. Luckily, you’ll have the chance to do just that, as the longtime comic veterans head to Hard Rock Atlantic City (hardrockhotelatlanticcity.com) for a stage show of biting barbs, skewering one-liners and sidesplitting stories.

An angelic voice paired with some notable piano chops have been the key ingredients in the signature recipe for John Legend. His signature hit, 2013’s “All of Me” was written as a heartfelt and gushing tribute to his wife, model Chrissy Tiegan. Expect to hear every heart in the room simultaneously melting when he performs it live at Borgata (borgata.mgmresorts.com) on June 21.

OPA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
Offshore powerboat racers will soon blaze trails along the Atlantic Ocean when they gather for the OPA National Championship Series (oparacing.org) motorboat racing event on June 22. As one of the most awaited offshore high-performance races of the year—marking the grand debut of the OPA National Championship Series on the upper east coast— this promises to be a monumental event, showcasing the premier racers, race boats and speed.
Things are about to get colorful in A.C. as murals spring up around the city as part of 48 Blocks Atlantic City Mural Week.

AC MURAL WEEK
The Atlantic City Arts Foundation (atlanticcityartsfoundation.org) has partnered with Swiss artist Mona Caron to paint the group’s 100th mural in Atlantic City. The 19-story mural will be the largest in town and serve as one of the visual highlights of 48 Blocks Atlantic City Mural Week, a weeklong event running from June 23-29. During this week, murals will be painted all over the city by a diverse collection of artists, and visitors will be given the opportunity to interact with the artists, take tours of the murals, and view their installations as they are created.

SUPER TRANS AM
Missing the days of arena rock, muscle cars and lava lamps? Ocean Casino (theoceanac.com) has you covered. Despite the passing of Gary Rossington (their last original member) in 2023, Southern rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd have persevered and are back on tour this summer—and The Ocean (theoceanac.com) is lucky enough to be one of the stops. Best known for a career marked with as much tragedy as success, this Floridabased band combines soaring guitar leads with soulful vocals and Speed is the name of the game on June 22 as the OPA National Championship makes its grand debut. IMPRACTICAL JOKERS AT OCEAN CASINO
In the world of prank-based reality TV shows, the Impractical Jokers are the top dogs and have been since their show debuted back in 2011. Originally starting out as an improv group, the Jokers will be right at home on the big stage at Ocean Casino’s Ovation Hall (theoceanac.com), with full intentions of leaving their legions of fans gasping for air and screaming for more.

GABRIEL IGLESIAS
Known for his Hawaiian shirts and a notably rotund physique (which he famously refers to as being “fluffy,”) Gabriel Iglesias has steadily gained popularity as a comic since breaking into the scene full time in 1997. His relatable jokes and unthreatening persona have been key to his popularity, and in 2022, he became the first comedian to sell out Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Will he sell out Borgata (borgata.mgmresorts.com), too? Probably.
