Bank & Bourbon, a classic American eatery and bar in the Loews Hotel, will welcome guests for a buffet brunch this Saturday and Sunday, July 3 and 4, as well as extend their lounge and bar hours to celebrate the holiday. Guests will love the restaurant’s morning cocktails, such as bloody mary’s and mimosas, along with an array of assorted pastries and made-to-order omelets for brunch. In the evening, diners can expect incredible appetizers, such as burrata and grilled octopus to start their meals. Entree selections range from trout with cipollini onions, haricot verts, baby arugula and caper-brown butter to hanger steak with birchrun blue cream, bacon marmalade and crispy fingerlings. For dessert, guests will leave satisfied with exceptional blueberry hand pie and famous Philadelphia cheesecake. This Independence weekend, the bar will also serve their new specialty cocktail, the Bourbon Cherry Sour. The festive drink contains Kentucky bourbon, cherry-mint syrup, lemon and club soda and is perfect for sipping while watching the city’s firework display. If you’re not looking to dine at the restaurant on the night of the 4th, hotel guests are still welcome to the 33rd floor at 8:30 p.m. for the ultimate view of Philadelphia’s fireworks.
