Perched high on the 59th floor of Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia, Jean-Georges Philadelphia, the city’s only Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star restaurant, has earned its reputation as being an experiential restaurant that celebrates fine dining and local ingredients. Whether it’s an unexpected beverage pairing by Sommelier Damien Graef that introduces guests to a grape varietal, or an intimate dinner set against the performance of The Philadelphia Orchestra, the restaurant continues to set the bar for enriching culinary moments. And now, with the restaurant gearing up to be open seven nights a week with a new à la carte menu under newly appointed Chef de Cuisine Colin Henderson, residents of Philadelphia no longer have to compete with Hotel guests for a seat at one of the most coveted reservations in town.

The new à la carte menu is designed to provide guests with an approachable way to enjoy one of the city’s most iconic fine dining restaurants and choose their own culinary journey. Guests will be inspired to select from seasonally-inspired dishes paired with handcrafted cocktails. A roving Champagne trolley encourages guests an opportunity to explore rare labels by the glass or bottle, including producers Laurent-Perrier and Krug. The trolley features a selection of cordials for classic sparkling wine cocktails or an after dinner digestif. Jean-Georges Philadelphia provides an environment for guests to discover something new – from a selection of rare, vintage Burgundy and Bordeaux to verticals by iconic Italian producers Dal Forno and Emidio Pepe as well as unexpected selections by Beurer, and A Tribute to Grace wines.

Most recently, he oversaw Toronto’s Café Boulud Restaurant and led kitchen operations of d|Bar. Chef Colin’s unique experience includes working closely with Chef Michael Tusk in his San Francisco three Michelin-star restaurant Quince, as well as under the tutelage of Michelin-starred Chef Daniel Boulud, learning the intricacies of fresh pasta and perfecting the sophisticated art of food plating.
