Ready for some summer fun? Here are the best summer festivals in Philadelphia.
Made in America Festival
After cancelling last year’s concert, this annual, incredible music celebration returns to the Ben Franklin Parkway for its 10th anniversary this summer. On Sept. 4 and 5, guests can experience live music from an array of artists hand-selected by founder Jay-Z, such as headliners Justin Bieber and Lil Baby, TikTok favorites Meghan Thee Stallion and Doja Cat, along with so many more. Philadelphia Folk Festival
This 59th annual “pocket-sized” festival is perfect for all ages with a lineup of live music acts from around the world, activities and workshops from Aug. 21-22. This festival boasts the title as the longest-running music festival in North America with its options of both in-person and online experiences. Bucks-Mont PRIDE Festival
The Welcome Project PA is proud to host their first ever pride festival on July 18 at the gorgeous Abington Art Center. Everyone is welcome to this free, outdoor event to celebrate who they are with live music performances from astounding artists, such as Alyssa Al-Dookie, DJ Posh and more. Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest
Head to Penn’s Landing any time before Sept. 26 for one of Philadelphia's favorite summer festival traditions. This incredible fest—filled with rollerskating at Philly’s largest outdoor roller rink, delicious food and drinks, boardwalk rides and games, mini-golf and beautiful views of the Ben Franklin Bridge and Delaware River—is sure to have something for everyone to enjoy. Night in Venice
Sit back and enjoy the waterside procession of beautifully bedecked boats for the 66th annual Night in Venice Festival. Beginning at Longport Beach, this nautical parade will travel along the bay to Tennesse Avenue, providing spectators with a full view of each divinely decorated boat. This year's theme is "Honoring Our Heroes" in rememberance of the countless sacrifices made by citizens throughout the pandemic. Foundation Arts Festival
On July 10, Modern Fossils will host its 31st annual Foundation Arts Festival—one of the largest events on Long Beach Island. This juried artist and maker’s show flaunts beautiful artwork and products, along with live music and great food vendors located just a few minutes from the beach. With the goal of uniting artists who inspire, educate and create with buyers seeking inspirational art, this inclusive event welcomes not only all mediums, but all artists and art-lovers, as well.
