2370 E Norris St. / Website
Located in Fishtown, this retro restaurant is in a great location with outdoor seating, brunch hours and happy hours. It offers many vegetarian options, including veggie wings, hush puppies, loaded pierogi nachos, mac and cheese, and togarashi fries as appetizers. The go-to vegetarian entree is a buffalo cauliflower Caesar salad and our favorite vegetarian side is an order of buffalo cauliflower fritters.

With three locations in Philadelphia, HipCityVeg has taken over the city with its philosophy of “embracing healthy bodies, a healthy planet, and compassion for all living things." The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, chicken options, salads, breakfast options, milkshakes, and very popular seasonal shakes. It's the kind of place you can come back to time and time again.

This food truck located on the University of Pennsylvania’s campus serves vegan and vegetarian food options for students and hungry people of all ages and backgrounds. It's good for a quick bite on the go. We recommend the fresh hummus dip, falafel balls, and baked tofu salad.

Located in the Gayborhood near Broad Street, husband and wife chef duo Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby founded this restaurant in 2011. Vedge is one a mission to bring diners a modern plant-based dining experience, with an emphasis on seasonal vegetable and international flavors. Do try the smoked portobello carpaccio, rutabaga fondue, braised market greens and grilled tofu.

Located near LOVE park, owners Maria and Anthony created this restaurant to provide natural food for everyone who may be a little over the whole processed food thing. Ánimo started as a juice and burrito bar, then morphed into a full-fledged eatery with different variations of burritos, salads, soups, bowls, juices, juice blends and more. The food is filling, flavorful and totally full of rainbow colors so you can satisfy your eyes and your stomach.
