A variety of looks with pieces from L’AGENCE, Blancha, A.L.C. and Tagliatore at the Boyds pop-up shop
Boyds Philadelphia (boydsphila.com) had plenty to celebrate in September when its Center City department store reopened after closing temporarily due to COVID-19 and completing extensive restorations. But even before the ribbon hit the pavement at the welcome-back ceremony, the fourth generation luxury boutique was readying for a fresh concept beyond city limits.
In October, the Boyds pop-up shop opened at Suburban Square. The expansive store’s exposed ceiling and glossy concrete floors create an industrial-chic setting to browse the designer wares and beauty goods. “The Boyds pop-up shop has a curated collection of merchandise available at all price points for holiday shopping, from $45 to unique, even personalized pieces you can’t find anywhere else,” says Missy Dietz, director of business development.
Michael Kors, Bottega Veneta and JW Anderson are womenswear highlights, while menswear focuses on more casual offerings from Lardini, Isaia and Ermenegildo Zegna; you’ll also find Tom Ford and Christian Louboutin, two men’s labels exclusive to Boyds in the Philadelphia area, here. Of-the-moment outerwear from Moncler, Canada Goose and Herno has pride of place in the heart of the store. Through the holidays, Boyds will host a series of trunk shows and special events focused on jewelry, beauty and even kids.
