The Atlantic City outpost of Stephen Starr’s Buddakan is wooing diners from across the tri-state area—especially those with a sweet tooth—with a revamped dessert menu. The delicious additions offer everything from creative twists on the classics to all-new Asian-inspired treats.
Takes on traditional desserts include vanilla crème brulee infused with Tahitian vanilla and served with frozen kalamansi yogurt, and a warm almond bread pudding complete with brioche bread pudding, almond cream, and whiskey ice cream drizzled with a succulent maple butterscotch sauce. Adventurous diners should try the Szechuan peanut semi-freddo, a peanut butter semi-freddo that is filled to the brim with milk chocolate ginger mousse and a spicy peanut brittle, or the grilled coconut cake served with passion fruit crème, coconut sorbet, and basil and coconut sauces. For a special dessert with an Asian twist, dig into the crispy Yuzu spring rolls, filled with a Yuzu curd, blackberry sauce, cilantro, and baked meringue.
