An Urban Celebration of Wine, Meet City Winery
For the urban wine enthusiast, an exciting new venue brings award-winning wine, food and music to the forefront of Philadelphia. City Winery delivers a uniquely intimate concert setting for guests to learn more about the art of winemaking with an array of additional activities to pair with your savored vino sips.
Founded in New York City in 2008, founder Michael Dorf saw a prevalent demand for quality wine experiences that bring the highlights of wine country to the heart of the city. City Winery serves as a custom crush facility for those passionate about making their own wine. Its recent accolade includes being a Silver Medal Winner in the Los Angeles Invitation 2022 for the winery’s own cabernet franc and pinot noir. The upscale destination serves dualistically as a 350-seated concert venue for guests to enjoy live music from internationally touring performers while ordering up world class wine on tap or delectable cocktails.
With a variety of programming, City Winery is a communal haven to make memories with friends old and new. From food and wine seminars and private event spaces to carefully crafted dinner menus, Center City Sips on Wednesdays and guided wine tastings Thursday through Sunday , the venue provides endless opportunities for guests to learn more about and bond over a shared love for wine.
Today, City Winery boasts several different locations across the nation including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Nashville, New York and more. Four additional concepts are running at Pier 26, Rockefeller Center, Chicago’s Riverwalk and Boston’s Greenway to ensure no metropolitan misses out on the fun. Two notable performances are set in the Philadelphia location this summer: Glee star Lea Michele on July 22 and This Is Us lead actress Chrissy Metz on August 11.
