5th on 5th, the museum’s ballroom on its fifth and highest floor, features floor-to-ceiling wrap around windows that face both 5th and Market Streets. Its adjoining Toll Terrace offers stunning views of Independence Mall - a popular backdrop for wedding photography. Combined, the ballroom and terrace have a capacity of 585 guests.
Large-scale receptions may also be hosted within museum galleries and concourses, where guests are surrounded by artifacts, exhibits and films. For a more intimate experience, the third floor of the museum, and the Freedom Experience, offers couples an enclosed terrace and views overlooking Independence Mall.
The Weitzman creates a seamless wedding experience with one central point of contact for the coordination of the event planning process – managed by Neuman’s Kitchen, their exclusive catering and events partner. This includes: the booking of the space, creative and flexible menu planning, design recommendations, the use of in-house white wooden Chiavari chairs, dance floor, stage, tables. the coordination of rentals - and as a licensed venue, the bar service.
