Mad Rex Restaurant and Virtual Reality Lounge

Everyone’s favorite VR lounge will host an unforgettable Cinco de Mayo celebration. They will be pumping out the Mad Margarita (fresh guava, papaya, orange, and pomegranate mixed with Don Julio and topped with a ghost pepper salted rim) as well as classic blackberry and strawberry margaritas. While this French brasserie might not be the first place you think to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, the coffee bar and bistro will be celebrating the traditionally Mexican holiday by featuring the Marguerite Sanguine. Tropicana Atlantic City

Spending a long weekend at the shore? Chef Jose Garces’ Tropicana restaurant, Olon, is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with $5 guacamole and $8 top-shelf Roca Patrón margaritas. The quaint Casa Taco & Tequila Bar will host a weekend-long celebration with exclusive food and drink specials like $8 house margaritas, $7 Tres Agaves Silver shots, and a $17 carne asada breakfast special. The celebrating doesn’t end there. Casa Taco will also feature a Casa Taco platter and a carne la tampiguena dinner special. Uptown Beer Garden will open for the season just in time for Cinco de Mayo, with a grand opening celebration starting on May 3. John Henry’s Pub

John Henry’s will be hosting the Main Line’s premier cinco de mayo fiesta. Just in time for the holiday, the pub will introduce their new taco menu featuring jerk chicken, honey lime chipotle pulled pork, jack daniels glazed filet tip, and blackened shrimp tacos with a blood orange vinaigrette. Pair any of their new tacos with their frozen margarita or Corona’rota.
