A Main Line CrossFit gym was where it all began for Courtney DiBianca and John Reynolds—who celebrated their love with a March wedding at VIE by Cescaphe.

WHEN JOHN REYNOLDS started coaching classes at CrossFit Village Berwyn in 2016, gym member Courtney DiBianca befriended him and the duo started dating a few months later. In November 2019, surrounded by trees decorated for Christmas, John proposed to a speechless Courtney after dinner at their favorite restaurant, Autograph Brasserie.

They tied the knot in front of 286 guests at St. John Neumann in Bryn Mawr in 2022, the same church where Courtney’s parents were married—even more of a sentiment as the bride’s father passed away just two weeks before the wedding day. “Th e music at the ceremony was very special to us,” says the bride of the gospel group who performed at the church. “It was unlike the traditional choices for a Catholic wedding. Everyone at the ceremony really enjoyed it (many even danced from their seats at times), and it was a moment we will never forget!”

Guests continued dancing at the glamorous city reception at VIE, and with a four-course dinner and five-tiered cake designed to match Courtney’s gown, the couple celebrated their special day in style. Th e bride, who always wanted “champagne satin” to be the main color for her wedding, was blown away by the decor. “Th e reveal of the reception overly exceeded our expectations!” she says.
