What motivated you to start your business?
It was a long standing dream of mine and then the company I was working for at the time sold and so I took the leap! When I lost my job it was the push I needed to just go for it!

What is your best advice for engaged couples?
The best advice would be to not only focus on a beautiful wedding day BUT also a beautiful marriage together! And in choosing a photographer, my advice would be to choose someone who they feel a real connection with - someone that makes them feel comfortable and at ease. It's an emotional day so the photographer should be empathetic and sensitive to the couple and the family and make everyone feel like they can be open and communicative. Also to talk about the timeline early with the photographer as they will be the one who really will have so much impact on how the day flows and will be a touchpoint for every other vendor on the day of the wedding.
What is the most gratifying part of your business?
Delivering the wedding gallery to a couple and hearing how much it touches them and their family members to feel all the emotions they felt on that day through my work. I develop such a bond with my couples. I love each one's story and really feel a connection to them.
What are you most passionate about right now?
I'm most passionate about the relationship I have with my couples because it really allows them the safe feelings of trust and vulnerability to open up in front of my camera. I'm also very passionate about interesting light, unique styling and being kind and showing love in everything I do and say!
