Kyle Michelle Weddings & Events is owned by two women who just happen to be sisters and bestfriends. When Meghan and I, Kristin, both lost our corporate jobs around the same time 10 years ago, we had to start thinking about next steps… Ironically, Meghan was engaged at the time and we were planning her Philadelphia wedding. After the wedding was over, we said to each other, “Hey, wasn’t that fun?” and right then we decided to become business partners and create Kyle Michelle Weddings. As our business grew, so did our team and our brand, as we expanded into planning Events, including, but not limited to; Bridal Showers, Anniversary Parties, Engagements, Baby Showers, etc. It takes a village, or just a team of incredible ladies who love what they do!
What sets your business apart?
We like to describe ourselves as Wedding Architects. We help you build your wedding from the ground up, while making sure all of the necessary logistics are holding up. I think what sets us apart the most is how customizable we are as a business, from the beginning phases of packages, to our clients wants and needs. While doing so, we take pride in becoming best friends with our clients and make sure they put all of their trust in our execution with their special day.

What is your favorite trend for weddings currently?
Easy! Our favorite trend currently is a unique reception floor plan. We love soft seating mixed with funky tables for two, a mixture of long/ rounds and hightops, really giving upscale restaurant vibes! We also love the unique tables we’ve seen lately, serpentines, super long tables for guests to eat at. We’re ready to let all the round table floorplans go!
What do you think is essential for any wedding in 2023-24?
Ultimately, hiring help with wedding planning is essential. It really helps guide the planning process along when someone has your back and is your shoulder to lean on. Don’t do this alone!
