WHAT FIRST SPARKED YOUR INTEREST IN THIS BUSINESS?
My own personal childhood surgeries at CHOP left an early imprint on me and influenced me to become a plastic and reconstructive surgeon. I further clarified my dream of becoming a facial plastic surgeon during medical school and residency. I enjoy both the reconstructive and cosmetic aspects of facial plastic surgery and strive to pursue achieving both form and function in my practice.
WHAT'S THE HISTORY OF YOUR BUSINESS?
I began my career as a facial plastic surgeon in Philadelphia in 2018 and eventually opened my own practice Tina Ho MD Facial Plastic Surgery in Wayne in July 2021.
WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF YOUR JOB?
I am grateful for the privilege and gratification derived from helping patients to look and feel more refreshed and balanced with beautiful, natural results. I love seeing patients return to my office smiling and glowing with more confidence.
WHAT CURRENT AND PAST PROJECTS THAT YOU’VE WORKED ON ARE YOU PARTICULARLY PROUD OF?
I interned with Operation Smile Vietnam for two summers during college and medical school and have participated in several medical mission trips. I am grateful for the launch of Tina Ho MD Facial Plastic Surgery in 2021 and to be a surgeon mom of two boys.
WHAT UNIQUE SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
I am grateful to have evolved in my practice into a leading facial and jawline contouring expert. Patients travel from all over the Philadelphia greater region as well as from out of state to pursue injectables as well as surgery including buccal fat removal, chin liposuction, and facelift and neck lift surgery. I specialize in various cosmetic procedures exclusively of the face that extends to other procedures such as eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, brow lift, and lip lift.
HOW CAN CLIENTS GET THE MOST OF YOUR SERVICES?
Invest in facial rejuvenation including a good skin care regimen early. From the injectables side, come in for routine treatments regularly (e.g. neurotoxin injections 3-4 times per week). Plastic surgery yields the most definitive and longest lasting results so be open to considering it if it aligns with your treatment goals.
WHAT IS UP NEXT FOR YOU AND THE BUSINESS?
I will be attending my first international conference as an invited speaker to the IMCAS World Congress that will take place in February 2023 in Paris, France. My lecture topic is Embracing Deep Neck Lift in Surgical Practice.
