Located in the heart of Philadelphia, on the most historic square mile in the country, the Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History offers a unique blend of history, culture, and elegance. An architectural landmark, the Museum features terraces with stunning views of Independence Mall. With 20,000 square feet of multi-purpose event space, the Museum’s many unique spaces are perfect for a variety of events—from corporate dinners and nonprofit galas, to meetings and conferences, film screenings, private parties, weddings, and more.

5th on 5th is the ballroom on the fifth and highest floor, and is the cornerstone event space at the Museum. This 7,000 square foot space features floor-to-ceiling wraparound windows facing both 5th and Market streets. With a 500+ guest capacity and adjoining terrace, the ballroom offers a modern setting for an endless array of style and designs.

For cocktail receptions or an intimate dinner, the 3rd floor Freedom Experience provides an impressive view of Independence Mall from an enclosed terrace. The space has a capacity for up to 200 guests.

Incorporating exhibits or artifacts into an event experience is one of the unique features of hosting an event at the Museum. The Only in America floor provides an inviting space to host cocktail receptions, for up to 300, amid cultural and historical aspects of the Museum.

On the lowest level of the Museum, the Concourse Lobby and Dell Theater offer a perfect location to host pre and post event receptions, conferences, ceremonies, screenings and performances. The Dell Theater is a warm and intimate space with excellent acoustics, integrated audio and projection systems. There are also a series of small flexible spaces throughout the Museum for business meetings, mid-sized lectures and breakout spaces.
