Over the next couple of months, guests can expect to see holiday-themed menus along with wine pairings at the inn.
It’s never too late to make up for your missed summer vacation.
Escape to the Main Line’s Wayne Bed & Breakfast Inn (bnbinn.com) for a culinary partnership with local gourmet food market DiBruno Bros. Built in 1885 as a summer cottage, the modern-day Victorian estate gives those looking for a bit of R&R a chance to rent out its private 7,700-square-foot property. The home itself consists of five beds and sleeps up to 13. “It is important that every business gets corona creative right now, and recognizes that we are all essentially in startup mode as we face the brand-new world we collectively find ourselves in,” says Gary Murray, chief brand accelerator at Hurray Brands (the marketing partner of the inn). “A boutique property with space for a small group to spread out and have to themselves presents the perfect opportunity to safely reconnect.” Those who stay at the B&B can work with a personal concierge to customize snacks and meals around activities planned (hiking, reading fireside and enjoying the gardens are popular), which are then placed into a refrigerator for contactless delivery. Think plates of field and orchard salads, herb-dusted salmon with whole-grain mustard veloute, Italian beef brisket and Maryland-style jumbo crab cakes with roasted pepper aioli. Guests can also plan the wine dinner of their dreams with a private chef.
