Robyn Rubenstein and Evan Azus immediately knew that Renault Winery was “the one” when they stopped by one summer weekend after returning from a Napa trip. “We loved the idea of getting married near the shore where Robyn has spent her summers,” says Evan (who initially “liked” Robyn’s Hinge account, leading to their first date in 2020). Exactly one year after their engagement, the duo said “I do” with a Jewish ceremony in front of 250 guests.

“It was surreal to stand under the chuppah, looking into Evan’s eyes and finally getting to that point after one year of planning,” says the bride. “And Evan’s vows were the absolute sweetest.” A reception filled with blush tones and greenery (Robyn’s favorite color is green) created the perfect backdrop for a romantic, whimsical garden party vibe. A packed dance floor, live painter, photo booth and treat truck added extra special touches to the celebration—but the newlywed’s choreographed first dance left a lasting memory for all. The couple, who took lessons at Society Hill Dance Academy, practiced in the garage of their apartment building. “It became something really fun for us during the wedding planning process that we never would have thought to learn otherwise,” says the groom. “The dance was a special moment for us.”
