Eat, drink and celebrate the Black culinary community with Lansdale’s Stove and Tap chef/owner Elijah Milligan at Fitler Club on September 20. The pop-up, called Greenwood Social Club with Chef Elijah Milligan, is one of many cooking collaborations to come to Fitler Club. Past participants include James Beard Award-winning chefs like Ange Branca and Michelle Bernstein. For one night, both members and non-members of Fitler Club can sit under the stars in the garden while indulging in dishes like smoked lamb ribs and roasted peach with shiso and burrata. Chef Milligan, who’s helmed local restaurants like Laurel and Vernick, is known for his separate collaborative dinner series, Cooking for the Culture, which celebrates Black chefs and supports equal opportunity in the food industry by hosting gourmet meals created by Philadelphia’s emerging Black chefs. $70 per person, 5-8 p.m., 1 S. 24th St., 215.575.9092, fitlerclub.com
