The Songbird
BOTTOMS UP
Watch the sunset over Delaware Bay while enjoying creative, showstopping cocktails at newly reimagined The Lookout at the Cape May Ferry Terminal (visitferrypark.com). Sips like the Songbird—a mix of dragon fruit-infused Nauti vodka, dry vermouth, elderflower liqueur, rose cider and fresh lime juice served in a bird-shaped glass—pair perfectly with scrumptious seafood plates and raw bar bites. “Our cocktails are works of art,” says owner Jack Wright. “We put a lot of effort into the presentation, but that would be pointless if they didn’t taste pretty special. And they do.”
Nobu’s Umami Chicken Karaage is a Tanoshi Hour exclusive.
EARLY BIRD
If Nobu Atlantic City (caesars.com) was not already one of the happiest places on Earth, Tanoshi Hour sealed the deal. On Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays from 5 to 6 p.m., foodies can enjoy daily happy hour specials on signature sips, fine wines, imported beer, sake and tasty dishes. “Tanoshi Hour was introduced to further elevate the already exquisite Nobu experience,” says food and beverage director Bill Fritz. “Guests are welcomed at the bar and cocktail lounge pre-dinner, or just as a stop by, to try out our renowned cocktails and small bites.” Soak up the sweeping ocean views from Caesars Atlantic City while indulging in Nobu Matsuhisa’s famous yellowtail jalapeno sashimi and exclusive Tanoshi Hour item—Umami Chicken Karaage—their version of fried chicken.Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s Long Bar is hosting the Summer of SelvaRey event, featuring bites like orange mango ceviche cup.
DINNER BELL
After hitting the beach, treat your tastebuds to one of the Savor Borgata Culinary Series’ (borgata.mgmresorts.com) mouthwatering experiences. The ongoing series welcomes visitors to try multiple interactive foodie events throughout the summer to celebrate the hotel’s 20th anniversary. “Our series is the culmination of nearly two decades of commitment to constantly elevating our offerings for guests,” says Laura Turenne, the resort’s manager of wine. This year, attendees can look forward to Summer of SelvaRey on July 29—a four-course menu paired with SelvaRey Rums—and a lunch and learn with American Bar & Grille executive chef Aram Mardigian on August 12.
Il Mulino New York’s decadent caviar is paired with all the favorite accoutrements like creamy creme fraiche.
CAVIAR DREAMS

During your next visit to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino (hardrockhotelatlanticcity.com) eatery, don’t miss out on spoiling your palette with Imperial Ossetra, Kaluga Select or Royal Siberian caviar. Guests can dress up the treat with creme fraiche, red onions, capers, eggs and blinis before twisting their forks into renowned favorites like the capellini Il Mulio. “These exquisite and rare delicacies are considered the peak of sophistication in dining and compliment our take on Italian cuisine beautifully,” says general manager Bruce Schilder.
Try the infamous porcini mushroom ravioli with parmesan, roasted mushrooms and cream sauce during your next visit to La Strada at the Shore.
MAMMA MIA
When choosing their first East Coast location, the La Strada team found Atlantic City’s Italian-American history a perfect fit. The Northern Italian eatery, originally from Reno, Nevada, is now open in Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City (caesars.com), featuring fresh pasta, innovative cocktails, an in-house bakery and roastery, housemade gelato and family recipes—all, of course, with a Jersey Shore twist. “At La Strada at the Shore, we’re going to ensure we are living up to my grandfather’s vision…in a way that’s authentic to its new home,” says Anthony Carano, president and COO of Caesars Entertainment. Look forward to their famous porcini ravioli and locally-inspired seafood spaghetti chitarra.
