What motivated you to start your business?
When I started Grace & Ardor Co., I set out to create beautiful images that would endure the test of time. I’ve always found my biggest inspiration to be the painterly qualities of fine art—the soft, airy, and endlessly romantic pieces that evoke true emotion. With every wedding I shoot, I channel these qualities that I fiercely admire.
My style combines this influence with my years of experience as a designer and art director, bringing with it an understanding of composition, an eye for detail, and seeing the potential for beauty everywhere. We’re known for this signature style in our wedding photography, and continue to stand out as a result of it.

What sets your brand or business apart?
Nearly a decade of experience in design, art direction, and branding have built a strong foundation for my photography—one that captures people and places in their truest, most beautiful forms. I’m largely inspired by the principles of fine art and the ethereal qualities of romanticism, resulting in imagery that’s soft yet striking. My keen eye for composition and attention to detail doesn’t hurt, either. Through conceptualizing and directing large scale editorials and photoshoots, I’ve pushed the boundaries of my own creativity and carry those lessons with me no matter what I’m photographing. In the end, I create these images with you in mind, so that in the years to come, they’ll still take your breath away.
Do you do anything that is signature to your brand?
I work closely with my couples to create a completely customized Wedding Day Guide to ensure their day is perfectly and beautifully planned. They end up with a robust, printable document that contains the timeline, all important information related to the wedding, shot lists, and vendor team details.
What is the most gratifying part of your business?
The couples I have the pleasure of connecting with. I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, building relationships, and ultimately making friends.
What is your proudest achievement?
Creating original art and having that work selected as the cover of Modern Luxury Weddings!
