Jo Malone London Unveils a Pastoral-Inspired Perfume Line Perfect for Spring

“It’s somewhere in perfumery I have never been before,” says Mathilde Bijaoui, master perfumer for Jo Malone London, of the brand’s newly sprouted English Fields Collection.

The pastoral-inspired line features five fragrances: Poppy & Barley, Primrose & Rye, Oat & Cornower, Honey & Crocus, and Green Wheat & Meadowsweet. “As a perfumer, I love to be surprised,” Bijaoui says of the innovative note combinations of hearty oat, fluffy barley and earthy rye—all warmed by the sun and combined with fragrant spring blooms. “To have cereals and grains as the main focus is a first for me,” she adds. A highly cultivated bouquet indeed.
