Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is Philly Style's newest cover MVP — and he's also the NBA's.
On May 5, the night the Boston Celtics beat the Sixers in Game 3 of the NBA Eastern Conference semifinals, Embiid accepted the Most Valuable Player award for the 2022 - 2023 season.
In his speech, Embiid thanked God, his teammates, his parents, his family and son who adorably ran on the court to join his father. "He's the main reason I'm here," Embiid said of his child through tears.
