Lana Del Rey’s Lust for Life album boasts hits “Love” and “Lust for Life” featuring The Weeknd.

You may not remember much about 2011, but let us help you: Beyoncé revealed her baby bump during the MTV Video Music Awards; the St. Louis Cardinals won the World Series; Charlie Sheen’s “winning” catchphrase was on fire; and the entire world attended the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton thanks to nonstop live news coverage. In the midst of all this, singer Lizzie Grant adopted a new stage name and was readying the release of her first album. Enter Lana Del Rey and her January 2012 debut, Born to Die, featuring her breakout hit “Summertime Sadness.” With her moody aura and melancholy vocals, Rey didn’t sound like any other female artist on the radio. Two No. 1 albums and four Grammy Award nominations later, Rey is rolling her 2017 tour right into a new one, LA to the Moon, touting songs like “Video Games,” “Heroin” and the achy hit “Young and Beautiful” at the Wells Fargo Center on Jan. 21. When you look back on 2018 years from now, this may be one of the moments you remember. Or not. Either way, Lana Del Rey is too cool to care.
