Communication is key. It should be honest and more than just words, visuals help. Whether screenshots, photos or even hand sketches, these images will effectively create a vision that they entire team can follow. Also when possible, start early and give yourself three months.

What is your favorite trend for weddings currently?

There are so many that it is hard to pick one other than to say "anything goes" when it comes to wedding cakes. Some noticeable trends include spatula painted cakes and angular tiers. Fresh flowers are also very popular now as is the choice of multiple flavors and fillings. It is really whatever your heart desires.

What big news do you want to share?

Classic Cake is in the process of rebuilding our landmark retail store in Cherry Hill, NJ which had been devastated by a fire back in March 2020. The new storefront will be bigger and better than ever with a live cake studio where customers can see the magic happen right before their eyes.
