Philadelphia realtors Megan Nicoletti and Billy Walsh celebrated their love with an unforgettable Palm Beach wedding.
Megan and Billy
Megan Nicoletti and Billy Walsh— otherwise known as realtors of the Nicoletti Walsh team in Philadelphia—knew they wanted to get married in Palm Beach. “I grew up going to The Breakers Palm Beach every year and had so many family memories,” says Megan. “Billy and I started going with my family, and he asked my mom for permission to marry me there in April 2023.” The power couple—who met through mutual friends in 2019—officially started planning their destination wedding after Billy popped the question last spring. “I was actually planning a surprise birthday party for Billy (he thought it was just a Cinco de Mayo-themed party),” says the bride. “Billy caught on and told everyone it was actually going to be our engagement party.” Since Megan thought she was headed to a meeting with Billy to pitch a prominent developer, she was surprised when she realized they weren’t heading there at all. “We have a family bench in Rittenhouse Square with our names engraved, and we walked by it on the way to our meeting,” the bride remembers. “I was rushing because we were late, and he was trying to slow me down. I finally stopped, saw the bench with a huge bouquet and a picnic, looked back and he was on one knee. I screamed so loud everyone heard me from across the park!” After she said yes, Megan’s mom, dad and family came running from their hiding spots behind the trees. On March 15, 2024, the duo walked down the aisle of the Mediterranean Ballroom at The Breakers—with an altar that had a stunning triple archway backdrop adorned with white flowers and mixed greenery. Megan and Billy celebrated their love with a romantic reception—including touches of blush pink for a feminine yet “Palm Beach” vibe. Gary La Vox from Rascall Flatts performed his hits “Life is a Highway,” “My Wish,” and “Bless the Broken Road,” and a seven-tiered cake filled with crushed Oreos was served before the self-proclaimed workaholics jetted off to Baha Mar for a relaxing honeymoon.
